Fourme d'Ambert
£0.00
At The Parisian Deli, we're proud to present Fourme d'Ambert — one of France's oldest and most distinguished blue cheeses, originating from the ancient volcanic mountains of the Auvergne. Made from pasteurised cow's milk, this tall, cylindrical cheese is a gentler, more approachable blue, with a soft and creamy texture and delicate blue-green veins woven through its pale ivory paste.
Where many blues can be bold and assertive, Fourme d'Ambert charms with its mild, subtly earthy flavour and a smooth, almost velvety finish. It pairs beautifully with fresh figs, a drizzle of honey, or a glass of Sauternes — a true classic that never fails to impress.
